"I'm here! I'm here!"

He almost fell down, nearly tripping over his own feet but the little Earl had managed to catch himself before doing so. Lily was here. Oh, she was here alright.
"You found me."
Reply
"Of course, silly! I'm the best at hide-and-catch, so this was easy, easy!" A smile that stretched from one corner of her face to the other.

Twirling. It instantly brought back memories of Alois' own twirling in their apartment earlier on in the day. Why was he surrounded with such energetic people? Another little breath and he'd regained his composure. Lily was a Lady, even if she didn't wish to be called one and she was somewhat like Lizzy, at least in personality and innocence.
"So it seems." He greets her with a smile and an outstretched hand. "Well Lily, shall we go for dessert?"

Lead? Of course he'd lead! He just hadn't been given the chance yet.
Without a word he began walking forward, holding her hand gently, properly, like he would with Elizabeth. "Am I?" He questioned, contemplating. No one had held their hand out to her? Not even one person? It was a hard concept to understand. "Is it a bad thing?"

Instead, she giggled. "It can't be a bad thing if there's dessert! Hey, do you go out for desserts a lot?"

As he lead her along the sidewalk, hand in hand, only slightly taller than her he considered her question. Did he go out for desserts a lot? Of course. They were one of the few things that kept him going in this city.
"I do. Back home I didn't, I had my butler make whatever I wished but he's not here to do so for me."

So she tilted her head curiously. "But that's no fun! Desserts are only really great if you share them with a friend, otherwise, they don't taste like desserts at all."

So, instead he asked:
"What do they taste like then?"

And then, she considered his question.
"Well, I don't know." She frowned, pensive. "I've never had any desserts alone before. Lottie and Fang and Dug were always there to eat with me, and before I met Lottie and Fang and Dug, nobody ever gave me any desserts."
A shrug. "But they can't taste good at all. Because if desserts are sweet when you eat with friends, then they can't be sweet if you eat them alone. It's only lo-gi-cal, isn't it?"
Reply
"I'm glad you've had desserts before, at the very least. To not have desserts...well that'd be a crime."
At least in Ciel's opinion, it was.

"Well, if you say so." She agreed amiably, nodding along, when... well, there it was. A shop that resembled a dessert shop.
She squealed, and suddenly tugged on his hand sharply. "Hey, is that it? Is that it?"
Reply
"It is." And with that they crossed the road to the shop, Ciel opening the door and leading her inside. Up to the counter they went and Ciel was already eying the assortment of goodies.
"What would you like, Lily?"
Reply
"I want a pretty cake!" She giggled. "A very pretty cake! And it has to have lots and lots of pink on it, because pink is my favorite color, you know?"
Shallow as it was, those were her wishes. She tugged her hand out of Ciel's grasp and all but pressed her face to the display window, oogling the cakes with a little child's excitement. Her eyes lit up.
"That one! I want that one!" She proclaimed loudly, turning to Ciel with sparkling eyes.

He looked over to the slightly smaller girl, waiting for the server to get the cakes. "Your favourite color is pink?" No, it hadn't been a surprise.
