don't bury me, faceless enemy

Who: walkthedawn and argentallure
When: Monday, September 6th, two hours after this conversation.
Where: The slums.
Summary: "Would you rather I show you, Brother?" -- "...Yes."
Warnings: No idea. This might possibly get messy, so let's just pre-date this and say "possible violence and Jenova stuff".

Riku wasn't sure to expect from this meeting. Of the three brothers, Yazoo was the one he was most wary of; he didn't speak as much as Kadaj, nor did he seem as childish as Loz. Kadaj may have been the authority of their group, but Yazoo seemed like the one who really took care of business in their group. The man was fast, too... He hadn't forgotten their first real meeting in the church. He could have potentially blown off his head before he had raised a shield to deflect the bullets. But now, with Guardian on his side, and a little more power, he wasn't as concerned with potentially being killed.

No, he was more worried about this "Gift" they had. Cells to be shared, he had said... This only meant problems for the rest of the city, and Edgeworth in particular. If he could just find out what they were planning, he'd be able to warn everyone properly, and then they'd stand some sort of a chance.

Xehanort could find this meeting as ironic as he wished, but this had to happen. He didn't care if he was throwing caution to the wind; someone had to find out what they were doing. If no one else could slip in, it would have to be him or Joe, and he'd never put Joe in that position. Xion and Roxas would never forgive him. Besides, Joe didn't have the same defenses he did and probably couldn't fight off the Remnants. At the very least, Riku was secure in the knowledge that he could call up a Corridor and leave, if absolutely necessary.

Two hours went by. Riku was already in the slums, waiting, waiting for Yazoo's familiar scent to waft by to signal his arrival. It wouldn't be long now.

riku, yazoo
