More than anything, he was glad to get out of the apartment. While the thunderstorm had been a pain in the ass, the drop in temperature was an excellent excuse to get out of the apartment and stop being so suffocated- both with the heat and with close proximity to everyone. Despite his best efforts, Shinjiro still had trouble getting used to having people around all the time-- Sharing a room with Akihiko, having Ken around the apartment and quietly loathing him, Mitsuru and Minako...
And so he had retreated back to one of his favourite time-wasting spots, a quiet, set-off little alley between buildings in section 4. It was easy enough to watch people go buy, not be bothered while lost in thought, and look over the NV without being distracted. Sure, maybe a grungy alley wasn't the most ideal spot to relax, but it was what he was used to. Besides, it was inconspicuous enough that when withdrawal had hit him over a month ago he had a place to convulse and twitch without attracting the attention of some damn hero-type.
There was an issue this time, though,. Shinjiro's brows furrowed as he stepped between the buildings, hands sliding easily into his pockets, resuming his typical, hunched stance. "The fuck are you doing?" he called out easily to the man. Sure, it wasn't as though this was explicitly his alleyway, but when there was some guy doing... something in it... well, he was curious. And a little annoyed.
