Hideaway Lake - late evening. Sorry for the late!

It was a nice place; the entire underground mall was a nice place, with the heatwave that was rolling through, but the lake tended to be better than normal on usual days, and with the temperatures, well-- the chill of the place was welcomed. It might have been a bit dulled, with the air wafting down from the above, but not too badly. And if too badly, one could always take a dip, couldn't they?

Which made Shiroe's spot just a bit up from the beach a bit odd. He definitely had no swimming trunks on, nor did he especially look like he was planning for a day of fun in the enclosed lake. Set off from the other late-nighters (hardly any), sitting in the grass with his legs half-drown up to his chest, apparently just watching the water, though a backpack with a few textbooks next to him would say differently. Someone might guess on a first glance that he was taking a break from homework or winding down from the fairgrounds, or philosophizing (and then discard that last option, because really, he looked twelve), but anyone with the convenient ability to read minds would ignore all of those options. Ah, but not too many people had that convenient ability, so there wasn't much of a point in thinking very hard on it.

And the chill. And, really, just being under Terra. It was nice. Watching pairs try to figure out how to use paddleboats was pretty entertaining, as well.
