Today, however, he was the troublemaker. At least one of them anyway. His wand was tucked away in easy reach so he could pull pranks whenever he felt the urge. Spending years around Sirius and James taught him many things about pulling pranks and he even had his own collection of thoughts rolling around in his head.
He spotted Himawari's hair in the crowd, purposely looking for it as she'd said she'd be here and after confirming that it was her Remus made his way over. Stepping up to her side Remus spoke loudly to be heard over the crowd: "Looks like it's good luck for us tonight."

She had stopped near a wall, over looking the dance floor, her hands on a railing and leaning on it, smiling brightly. Two people had already asked her to dance, but she said no. When one more person popped up beside her she was preparing to say no again and wander on.
It took a moment to realize what was said. Turning to look to the boy beside her, her smile grew larger. "Oh! Remus-san, you made it too!" It was the first time she'd seen him face to face. Pulling her simple red bird mask to her forehead she giggled. "It's nice to see a friendly face."

Not usually one to ask girls to dance with him (or much of anything else to be honest), Remus settled in comfortably at the railing beside her content to just stand around and chat. He noticed the slight hesitation as she processed what he said but could only smile in return for her growing one. Now Remus knew for certain that he enjoyed meeting people in person to talking to them over the NVs, nothing like the presence of a friend to make things more personable. "I thought I'd come see how this city likes to party. It's a lot different than the parties at school."
A nod in response and he let his eyes drift over the crowd. "I wholeheartedly agree, a bunch of faces and most of them I've never seen before so I was relieved to see you among them."

"It is rather interesting, this crowd. I've never been to a club before. Not really. And school parties I don't think were like this." Still though, she looked like she was enjoying herself.
"I'll be the first to admit that I don't know a single person here I think. Well, other then talking to you. It's very nice to meet you face to face." her voice cheerful, she actually seemed happy tonight; no masks. "A very nice friend of mine warned me of shenanigans tonight. I've been so cautious that I believe I've missed anything that might have happened." She chuckled. In other words, the night seemed pretty normal.

"Never been to a party like this one either. It's always entertaining to see the way others celebrate," it was said with a smile.
"Same for me, what with not knowing anyone here but you. I'm glad we can finally meet like this." Remus had to admit that when he first decided to get into the Marauder spirit to pull pranks and try to enjoy himself that he wasn't sure how it would go but so far he hadn't had a bit of unpleasantness. At her amusement about shenanigans he leaned forward onto the railing in front of them, eyes glancing to look at over her. "The day is far from being over, and I don't think you've missed anything nor will you."

His comment about seeing how others celebrate made her chuckle, peeking over at him, head tilted. "So how do people from your home normally celebrate?" You didn't think you would escape the silly and curious questions, did you?
Himawari was attempting to be... brave lately. She was learning to control the luck of hers and try to... grow up a bit. Getting out was one of those attempts to it. She gave a firm nod, a very amused smile across red lips. "I'm glad we could meet too, though I never figured it would be at a night club." She giggled, glancing back out to the dancing group of people.
"Oh good. And here I worried I was just that oblivious." Yep, that confirmed it. The boy had something up his sleeve, didn't he?
