[She had seen the article in the news report, and she wanted to go see this unbelievable statue that they were unveiling. It sounded unbelievable, anyway, and with the warnings from that one woman, well. How could she not want to see it? So she and Shinjiro went.
Maybe the oddest people to go see it, but good enough.]
