My powers are significantly stronger than normal, and fighting darkness monsters isn't burning off any of the energy.

[Raven entrusted her with the truth about her origins. She decides it's only fair to let Raven see what she looks like. Her horns are as wide as her shoulders now, she has armour attached to her body, and her lower half has four legs, hooves, fur and a tail now. Her sword has also been replaced by a double-edged lance. In short, she looks like a knight crossed with a centaur.]

You don't look... too surprised. Are you, um, used to looking like that?

It's my Resurrecion. Normally some of my power is sealed into my sword. When I use the command 'declare' while holding my sword a particular way, I take on this form and my full power is released.

Something's up with my powers, too. Well, to be specific, I seem to have lost them. And they've been replaced by something weird.

Usually that form takes up too much energy to maintain for very long. I use it when I want to finish a battle against a powerful opponent quickly.

You're right, though. I'm stuck this way. I can control it somewhat...but the spiritual pressure I'm giving off would make it difficult for most people to breathe near me.

[That makes Nelliel pause.]

What were they replaced with?

I see. Yeah, that sounds like a problem. Do you have, you know, food and that kind of thing? Or... in general, anything I can do?

[She shrugs.]

It's just this weird feeling that I can make myself lighter. To be honest, it's kind of scary to not have my regular powers, but since something like this is happening to everyone, I guess this isn't so bad. And at least I don't have to focus on controlling myself. It's... nice.

I normally eat the darkness monsters, so I should have no problem getting food.

[Nelliel quirks a slight smile.]

Getting into the shower or changing my clothes will be more of a problem.

That's why it hasn't come up. I eat human food for the taste. The darkness monsters are...similar in nutritional content to the food back home. They taste every bit as bad as you would expect.
