[He's looking direction at his NV. Soubi stays silent for a few moments before he lets out a breath, brushes back a strand of blond hair that's escaped his ponytail, before he starts to talk.]
This is long overdue. [Because it is. It's taken too long but Soubi's, admittedly, just not wanted to leave Ritsuka's side.] I've been here for a little while now and I still find myself unemployed.
My forte is mostly in art - Japanese art to be precise. Ritsuka seems to believe there may be an opportunity to use this skill in teaching or something of that sort.
[He smiles.] That isn't to say I can't do anything else. I have been told I have a way with words when the situation calls for it - amongst other personal skills. I'm also a fairly decent cook. Speaking of which...
[The smile becomes more genuine this time and the NV is turned away from Soubi's face to focus on a plate of what looks to be
several small round balls of something.]
Ritsuka, I tried making some daifuku with the ingredients available here. I'm not sure how good they'll taste but...well, I was grocery shopping and thought I would try something new.
If anyone else is interested, I have made a fair few. I am not sure they are as good as they could be, but cooking with ingredients I'm less familiar with is something quite challenging.
