[ the feed clicks on with a start. someone has apparently... woken up. from a very long sleep. startled, definitely, the person had scrambled around much beforehand, though of course, none of that had been recorded. a shame, really. it was probably pretty amusing.
but, no, it soon becomes clear that this is no laughing matter for Captain Robert Cross. he's sitting up on what appears to be concrete, but not much can be seen. Cross is just staring at the NV, pale and utterly shocked.
his fingers move across it, unseen mostly, as though he's trying to discern if this is reality or not. evidently, it is. and when he realizes this, his face turns expression. anger. a lot of it. finally, he shouts, chucking the NV across the pavement with a clatter. ]
