NV Networks Glitch, Tech Experts Suspect Foul Play
NetVice communication networks citywide have been plagued with connectivity trouble, poor reception, server crashes and error messages throughout the week, leading many experts to believe that hackers are at play. If you have experienced any of these problems with your NetVice devices, please stand by, as the city is working slowly to correct these problems. Some have linked the circulating troubles to last week's April Fools pranks, other investigative reports suspect tampering by SPU computer science students, although reports have noted nothing so devastating as last year's notorious Tarot Card Virus. Others blame Russian bloggers.
Core Cultist Convicted!
In a late verdict Wednesday evening, Core Cult Leader Sylvia C. Alcázar has been found guilty of multiple charges, including terrorism, conspiracy and kidnapping. She has been sentenced to 25 years to life in Siren's Port Penitentiary. Any remaining members of the cult still have not resurfaced, and AGI is preparing for a civil suit against Miss Alcázar.
Joker Still at Large
Joker recently resurfaced, engaging SERO agents and cops in a shoot out. He was handcuffed, but wielding a shotgun with expert finesse, he managed to kill most of the officers and agents in pursuit of him. Those that fled the scene survived, others had limbs blown off but lived. He escaped into the alleys of the city and is still at large, armed with at least a shotgun. Bounty for the capture, dead or alive, has been posted at $10,000.
