[Kaiji pauses briefly, distracted from his rant by all the bandages. Not that he lets the concern come through in his voice- he sounds a little bored if anything.]

... are you okay? I mean, obviously not because you're in hospital but you know what I mean.

I am alright. I was injured, but I have been recovering.

Good. Hope you get better soon so you can get out of there even faster. What the hell happened to you anyway? You're just a kid...

I had a fight against someone siding with a murderer. I was defeated.

[That catches him off guard- and hits a little too close to home for comfort. Never thought he'd have this much respect for a teenage girl. He sounds a gentler- almost wearier- when he speaks again.]
