You'd have to catch the pies before they fell on anybody's heads, though. You can't enjoy pie if it hits you in the head and knocks you out. Well, it wouldn't knock me out. But some people it would.

But pies are too big to fit into most people's mouths! [A smidgen of logic amidst the insanity.] They'd just get knocked onto their backs, with pies sticking out of their mouths and somebody else could just come along and steal the pie!

And pie theives just running around and stealing as many as they can. And then -- BAM! One falls on their heads and they're out, too! And pies splatter all over the ground! [He barely got that out between fits of laughter.]

That would be the best weapon for policemen! It wouldn't kill anyone, but no one wants to get hit by old trout!
