Well, we’ve certainly been through some dark and unsettling times, haven’t we? [A slight chuckle, then a pause as though suddenly realizing insensitivity --] Ah, my condolences to those who have lost loved ones during these last few weeks. I am truly very sorry; these recent occurrences are not experiences I would wish upon anyone.
However, the events of last month have left me wondering - is this city entirely dependent on the Core for its electrical needs, apart from those individual buildings with back up generators? Considering its volatile nature, I’m surprised there hasn’t been much talk of looking into alternative energy sources. It’s quite remarkable that a city this size has managed to self-sufficient at all, really, despite all the social problems that currently plague it.
Is anyone else looking into ensuring that such disaster as the blackout does not affect the city again? If so, I would like to hear about it, if you do not mind discussing it.
