Once he retrieves it, he sits up, a man with short brown hair and a red jumper appearing to everyone on the network.]So Sherlock and I finally have a flat together. I'm so glad to be out of that hell hole and something with proper Darkness protection. ( Read more... )

You'll go into detail about fetching milk and moving house and the lot of it, but you won't go into detail about interesting bits of a case.

Right. Interesting priorities.

[He's quick to jump into a defensive mode.]

Just because I choose not to discuss such a depressing case and want to talk about my exploits in the Darkness to lighten the mood doesn't mean the murders don't concern me.

I just feel, at this moment, my thoughts on the matter should only be privy to me and my roommate.

Exploits! I'd like to hear about exploits. But you didn't mention any specifically, y'know, you just went on about milk and things.

Would you like to hear about our exploits in London or the Darkness?

This was our first time going out there (well at least mine) so I only have that one story, though.

Oh, well, you've already started with that lovely little lead-in there at the end, so perhaps you'd better do a Darkness one. Or the Darkness one, since you've only the one--but I do love hearing about London, so let's take post-date that one, eh?

Tell me of this milkish exploit. What sort of cereal was it benefiting, for starters.

It was a rather plain bowl of corn flakes. I can't find Honey Rice Krispies here which are my favorite back home, but what're you gonna do, right? Of course, I made it more interesting with sugar and I wasn't about to have that dry.

All of that sounds disgusting. Why didn't you just find regular rice crisps and pour honey on top of them, why did you flake bits from corn?

But, right, you were desperate for a sub-par bowl of weird cereal. And then....?
