I don't know about Angels, but.. Usually for a human, it's the Oxytocin that throws them off the rails. If they get.. conditioned to the feeling, it can stay that way.

Yes. It can fit in with the whole 'love makes you stupid' theme, sometimes. Sometimes it's just love, but... Sometimes it's more than that. I guess to make an accurate assumption I'd need to know the context.

Think of it like an addiction. Love is kind of it's own drug, in a way.
