[Dated before sirens.]
[It's almost strange how calm the city seems already, considering the distress of the past few days. Perhaps the place is desensitized to such things on some level, and in all honesty that wouldn't surprise Hitsugaya that much. Hell, it's almost to be expected.
[One might think that Hitsugaya is accustomed enough to such hectic events, but instead he's erring on the side of restless. So he's a bit twitchy, waiting for the next dire circumstance to crop up. At the rate things are going, he figures it shouldn't be long. Even so, life must go on. Such as it is.]
A normal day for a change. They'd gotten to be rare lately. I've been here for a few months, but the past couple of weeks have been more concentrated hell than I'd experienced since arriving. So --
[He cuts himself off for a second here, glancing suspiciously at something off screen. That damn white cat again? He'd swear it's the same one that's been following him around for the past couple of days. Nevertheless, it's unimportant and he now ignores it.]
So, is there anything else going on that might have gotten lost amidst all the recent murders, disappearances, blackouts, bombings, and ritual sacrifices? It's rather difficult to keep track anymore. [Yes, he sounds a little bitter. No, he does not know how to relax. Surely something else is going to happen soon. Just the way things are, anymore.]
[He takes the bitterness out of his tone for this.] You're staying well? Eating and sleeping habits back to normal?
[Because if he's got the time to grouse over the network, he might as well check up on his friend a bit while he's at it.]
