Well that was some surprise last night wasn't it? I swear, you can't escape extremists in this world. They're either trying to get you to convert to Catholicism or sacrifice some animal. Who knows, but this morning's article has me feeling rather uneasy. The fact that these cultists want to disconnect the life support systems of the hospitals is ( Read more... )

Doctor?

If I can assist in helping your decision in any way-

I am Doctor Daedalus Yumeno, and I've been working at Skye's clinic for nine months now. I can try to answer any questions you might have, about securing a position- there are openings in the night clinic, and our Medical Director, Pyke, has welcomed newcomers into Health Care. I've also been receiving some training at Skye, with my newer abilities, and under a few specialists at SPGH- although Dr. Tenma would be better counsel for starting there.

Although, with all the trouble going on right now, it would probably be best to wait till it's resolved.

Oh! How nice to meet someone from Skye Medical. A pleasure. I'm Dr. John Watson.

[He wants nothing more than to jump right into the action, but he knows that these things take time.]

That might be a good idea.

There are several others who work or volunteer here as well...Dr. Xavier, Dr. Seward, Nurse Nonomura, Nurse Petrelli, Yosuke...

Normally I'd help you schedule for an interview straight away, but the hospital is about two steps from lockdown, right now.

Ah well, just drop me an email or a message when you've become available. Do you think you're prepared for these people?

I honestly don't know what we should be preparing for. The threat was vague- but Dr. Pyke's taken things seriously. So has the SPPD and AGI. There's been doubled security on the ICUs.

Thanks you, Doctor...that I could help you at a better time? The offer stands.

Do you have any specializations? Credentials?

In addition to general practice, I am a surgeon. As for my credentials, I wasn't in a state when I arrived at Siren's Port where I had my degree from the Medical College of St. Bartholomew’s Hospital on my person so you'll just have to take my word that I know what I'm doing.

[A small chuckle.]

I'll see if I can slip a word to our Chief of Surgery then, about any openings.

That's understandable, due to the way that newcomers arrive, and something that will of course be taken into consideration.

It's no sweat off my back, really!

The more newcomers we have working in Health Care, bettering the city, the more we'll be respected and accepted as fellow citizens.
