Skies remain overcast, and slushy snow continues to sit on the ground, though precipitation and snow clears up in the early afternoon. Temperatures drop sharply in the late evening. High of -1°C and a low of -10°C (30°F/14°F).

- There is an article on the sudden recurrence of the Plaster Murders, a serial killing that had fallen mostly by the wayside and was thought to have gone dormant. A new sculpture was discovered this morning just after sirens, by the steps to City Hall. Like previous murders in the series, each "sculpture" contained a dead body, the throat slit (and in some cases, the wrists slit) with the plaster carefully broken to allow blood to seep out. The plaster was analyzed, but as in previous cases, was identified as being so common that it is nearly impossible to trace, while containing ammonia. Police speculate that the ammonia in the mix is intended to kill off any scent or other physical evidence. As with previous Plaster Murders, no evidence was found and there are no particular leads. There were 10 people involved in this slaying, three of which were identified as Newcomers Azula, Hope Estheim, and Anna Milton.
