II. [Video] It's Dark On Purpose.
[Hey, another video. And it's dark. One can barely make out a body sitting there within the frame, but the voice is distinct enough to tell who it is.
And you know what - screw the hidden face thing, he doesn't need to wear a hood indoors. And in this apartment building thing at this time, it's just dark enough to keep his features obscure. Everything except his eyes, of course; that gold and slightly copper tint is just bright against the darkness.]
It appears there has been much going on of late. Daily troubles, a citywide black out, strange behavioral changes that occur in the most unlikely of denizens...
...The sudden rise in discussion about matters of the heart and all of its mysteries...
I only bring this to the forefront because it is a topic which...intrigues me...and wonder what caused this to become so important around this time. There are many here who would find no interest in it whatsoever, and yet it still has its affects through those connections, the bonds each person, animal, or any other living specimen has, something that cannot be comprehended unless they have a heart to do so.
And had I the heart to care, I would give the deepest of sympathies to those who had to suffer through these incidents.
[There is a pause as he folds his hands together, dark traces of gloved fingers interlacing quietly, melding into the black.]
I only come to say that I, Xemnas, have nothing to do with any of these heart-related matters. After all, I am still new to the city.
