[He nods a greeting to Ella, his face less severe than normal. He sees Kazuma on the couch, still covered in blood and his face streaked with tears. He's not really sure what to say at first. He's terrible with emotions that aren't anger. And he'd promised not to bring up the murder.]

Hello. [Yeah, that didn't sound trite or anything. He looks away for a moment, trying to think of something else appropriate to say, and all he can come up with is:] She's safe. Should be on her way.

[Kazuma basically feels like he got ran over by a Mack truck, so he hasn't been moving that much, even if he also feels disgusting on top of that. He wasn't expecting Hitsugaya for some odd reason (mostly because he didn't hear Ella talking to him) but seeing him there makes him sit up a little, blinking in mild surprise.

Some how the weird, vague statement isn't as surprising as his appearance.]
