[when the camera clicks on, it's apparent that it's unintentional. the NV is right in the middle of falling to the ground, and when it clatters, a flash of green scales can be seen moving over the lens. whatever-it-is seems to be trying to hop onto the device, and from somewhere above, Snake can be heard sighing.]
Mh. Don't be so difficult.
[the green thing clambers over the camera, revealing more discernible features to the observant viewer: tiny little claws that click against the glass of the lens and a long tail, which nearly knocks the NV on its side as a pair of human hands close around the thing and pull it off the camera. apparently oblivious to his NV recording, Snake moves off to the side with green thing held in his arms, the source of the previous blockage, which turns out to be a
very large iguana. he stills the little creature from climbing all over him, looking remarkably unfazed as if this is something he's used to.]
[looking down at it, frowning thinly] After all, you could have ended up as dinner.
[the video times out with him patting the iguana on its scaly head, a mite awkwardly, as it tries to gnaw on his shirt's sleeve.]
