[Because sitting in the dark, listening to the utter silence isn't quite as fun as she thought it would be, she boots up her little NV computer. It's not that she was trying for the whole Blair Witch thing- at least it wasn't an up-nose shot for all to see.]
So this blackout. Is it... Normal? I'm guessing this isn't what everyone keeps calling 'the Darkness', 'cause I've been through plenty of blackouts in my time and they aren't really that intimidating.
[Then again, with a glance to the window, it's not like she's seen a city this dark during one before. Silence isn't what she'd been expecting either. At least back home she'd had a radio to tune into every couple of hours- in her head or not. Here there was just.. Nothing.]
