[Charles is in a restaurant somewhere, sitting, seemingly alone, the tie to his sweater-vest a bit loose. He has a straight-face but if you can tell, he appears peeved, even a little angry. His voice is dry, very, very dry. He is looking straight into the NV and not blinking.]

Does anyone else think perhaps a school especially for newcomer

The Mothers thing? Honestly, they're kinda tame. But then, ya know, Bastion, the FoH... My perspective's a bit skewed.

I'm totally not going to be Scooter for the newcomer kids though. You can't make me. [She sticks her tongue out at the Professor, playfully. Hey look, Jubilee's personality is almost back!]

I suppose my fear is the larger scale of what they stand for, and the mere idea that anyone would deny anything to children just...rips my heart out.

I know, and it does suck. But I don't think wholly separating them is the best idea, either. It hasn't, exactly, worked for the best back home, Prof.

No, of course you weren't. I mean, Doug's an older student than me, and really, Remy's here too. So, I can just be the annoying brat who completely gets her own way and does as she wishes. I even have a substitute Logan to vouch for me. [That would be a shit eating grin if ever she wore one.]

Well we don't have to separate them. Other children can come too. I just don't feel comfortable with the idea of doing nothing...I want to at least have a space prepared for them to come if they feel uncomfortable int he public schools. Any child at all, who feels uncomfortable being surrounded by...hate.

Truthfully...I was hoping to be more active with my students. And yes, we have Michael and Doug and Remy. We could all help a bit here and there. I haven't really given it all much thought yet.

Sounds wonderful. I'm paying though. Don't go trying anything. [He gave a smile and a playful wink, glad for another occasion for a normal feeling outing. The last thing he wanted was to get himself cooped up in a stuffy house filled with depressed children in a world that hated everything and everyone. He had been enjoying the time away from grief and was not eager to see it returned. An outing with Jubilee sounded absolutely wonderful. Even if serious topics would inevitably ensue.]
