Valentine's Day Murders Shock Siren's Port

Seven more bodies were found this morning in an emerging pattern that the Police are calling The Valentine's Day Murders. So far, a total of nine bodies have been credited to the murderer, who already has been nicknamed 'St. Valentine' by the department according to inside sources, all having been found brutally slaughtered, their hearts ripped out in a ritualistic manner and left out in the open to be found by others. At least six of the bodies have been identified, four of which are Newcomers. Early on, police began to suspect the newcomer killers, but retracted their accusation when it became clear that citizens were being targeted as well. The two bodies found on the 13th were identified yesterday as Newcomers Mercy Thompson, 33, and Trauma, 19. Despite the Police's city wide effort, only one witness has stepped forward. Newcomer Claudio Kilgannon, has come forward with possible imagery of one of the murders. The NetVice footage is blurred, but it is believed to be one of the only real leads investigators have. One of the new victims, a local TV producer known only as Rochelle, was discovered by Tom Hanniger late Monday night when he was picking her up for a Valentine's Day date. Once police were called in to investigate, the building was searched and upon further inspection, it was discovered that three other people in the same apartment complex were murdered within their homes. Neither Mr. Kilgannon or Mr. Hanniger were able to be reached for comment, and neither party seems willing to approach the press. More developments are being made, but Police spokesman are reluctant to release a statement, only saying "we are making this our personal mission to figure out and solve what is going on as fast as possible[...] This case is being treated with the utmost sensitivity and we advise the city to take extra precautions until the murder is found. We don't want to take any chances."

Other Notes

- A news report comments on a bank heist that happened yesterday, on Valentine's. The perpetrators used a pheremone-increasing alchemical potion that caused a massive distraction as many people resorted to various indecent actions in public around the area. The heist didn't go off without a hitch, however. The robbers - 16 year old Carrie Killian, and 24 year old Lisa Shen - were discovered in the vault of the bank engaged in a passionate embrace, distracted by their own distraction.

- Twenty seven couples meet at Harvey's Tavern yesterday for a Kiss Off, a kissing competition where lips must stay locked for as long as humanly possible. For over seven hours couples stood face to face gaining chapped lips, but only one couple walked away as winners. George and Alex, a new couple managed to take a new Tavern record of seven hours and forty seven minutes, granting them the Kissing Crowns and a year of free drinks as long as they stay a couple. Guest judges included Bad Wolf lead singer, Dimitri Ilicheff. All My Heroes star Mina Crest, and last years kissing champions John and Rex Dawson.

- There is a small report on several isolated bursts of thunder and lightning that have been happening throughout the City. These bursts are small, incidental storms that crop up and then decline at random times. Experts currently expect a weather user to be the cause of these bursts.
