Thus a quick trip ended up taking him on something of a detour. And of course, the timing of that detour had to happen around the same time certain pheromones were released into the air in that area.
It's an unusually frazzled Doug that returns to the apartments later. He's tried to clean all the lipstick off, though there's still bits around his collar, and the end of someone's telephone number can be seen sticking out from the edges of one sleeve. He knows how he looks when he sneaks in, knows he'll likely be seen, but he's not going to sneak in through a window or anything.
Once he's had a better chance to clean up properly, he'll get on the NV.]
