[ There is a thump as the NV turns on, and a muffled 'A-HA!' before Ella is visible, sitting on the edge of her bed with a red notebook in her hands. ]
I knew I had to have something like this hidden away. [ She thumbs through a few pages, a smile widening. ] I was right. [ And to the NV. ] I have in my hands a book. Yes, I know what you're thinking, 'What's so special about a book, Ella?'
Well, I'll tell you. This book right here, just so happens to have all of my notes - or at least, whatever I wrote in it, from my very first arrival to... to -- [ She pauses to flip through a few pages. ] Well, up to a few days ago. A few gaps here and there, but the important thing is that I have notes on people.
I'll actually know who people are now, -- the ones who haven't already re-introduced themselves, I mean. Isn't that great? [ ... ] Well I think it's great.
