The more I hear over this thing, the more surreal it seems. Guess I should be used to that.
Oh- there was someone that talked to me when I first arrived, but I didn't get a chance to catch her name before my phone decided to cut out. Anyway, managed to make it to somewhere safe, obviously- and even though you didn't tell me much, thanks at least for saying something.

[For someone that's been temporaly as well as physically displaced, the teenager's quite calm about it.] It's also come to my attention that the lease for this apartment is free for newcomers for the first month, so I guess looking into finding a job is probably next on my list of priorities. ...unless they have an age limit for that sort of thing. Sorry, I'm not familiar with how things work in...Canada or its surrounding territories. I've never been outside of Japan, actually. Any suggestions or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
...I'm sure I would have heard if she's here by now...but then again, if abnormal is normal around here then... [A sour look crosses his face for a fleeting moment, but he brushes the thought aside, coughing into a fist.] -also, I doubt she's here, but if you're around, Haruhi, well, you're not the only one anymore.
