'Just as good'? This is as far as you are willing to go?

In order to surpass him...you must go farther than he had ever dared to tread. Observe your surroundings, delve deeper, and use what you can to stay in control of the situation. You appear to have the potential to do so.

You may not be able to show your Mother now, but perhaps there is a possibility where she will be able to take notice in future circumstances...

Indeed. Even I had my own experiences along these lines...

Surely there are ways to reach this goal of yours. If she cannot tell you, then there is always the option to...readjust.
