[Seven sounds and looks downright exhausted--because she is. She hasn't been able to regenerate since she arrived here, and while sleeping like a normal person helps, she's long past the point where she's feeling the effects--basically, she hasn't slept for a week. The good news? She has a makeshift alcove all set up and ready to go--it's visible ( Read more... )

Something a little more constant would be ideal, unless the energy was being stored.

Ah, well, I've only got access to the raw stuff, unfortunately.

Why?

Because sleep alone is not sufficient for my physiology. I require time in a regeneration alcove to repair and maintain the cybernetics in my body. They unfortunately require a great deal of power.

[She pauses a few moments before responding.]

I do not sleep as a normal person does, it is insufficient to maintain the cybernetics in my body. That is what this machine is for. I have not been able to regenerate since my arrival here.

[Rough equivalent, she hasn't slept for a week.]

[It's quite a lot. On Voyager they drew 30 megawatts each apparently, but we're assuming she got it down to a single digit number because dang. I'd go with one or two, probably.

Either way she looks relieved. She's experiencing the symptoms of lack of sleep, and she really hates that.]

Thank you.

[Insert bullshit amount of your choice here.]

[Squinting at the device in the background.] I assume it is to power that machine. What does it do?
