Considering we don't know if the shinigami will attack right after their meeting, it's best to have all of us here and ready, with a plan in mind.

Kurosaki Ichigo has volunteered to do that. He decided to help defend Nueva Las Noches and keeping watch outside lets him do that without breaking his word. Shirosaki Hichigo is going to spy on the shinigami meeting.
