Other Notes
- The transit system continues to be crowded as gas prices remain high and inhibit use of cars due to the recent oil spill. With the weather as it is, however, buses are having a hard time with the slush and snow in the streets. While the subway itself is running smoothly, with the issues caused for buses, expect business and transportation throughout the City to be severely slowed down throughout the next few days.
- Valentine's merchandise is starting to show up in various stores - candy, teddy bears, and other items that are pink and have hearts are popping up. There are also various sales at jewelry stores and other romantic locations in anticipation of the holiday. You may notice that any chocolate items seem to be be labeled "hormone free!" after last year's fiasco with genetically engineered cocoa beans that caused certain amorous effects in eaters.
-
The Secret Dinner event mentioned last Saturday will be ocurring tomorrow night.
