--aps if I simply-- ah! S-such a light turned on--! ...o-oh, I see. [having turned on the NV's audio successfully, Japan is pleased. his tone comes off as relatively calm, despite the situation that has been explained to him by the greeter, and just how ill he felt.]Ah... excuse me. Such devices are strange to me... Though I look forward to ( Read more... )

That's a wonderful name! It must be very exciting, to be named after such a great country as Japan--and it's a very unique name, too! I don't think I have ever met anyone named Japan before--and I live in Japan! If there would be a place where anyone would be named "Japan", you would think it would be there! Ah, well, I don't live in Japan right now, of course; I live in Canada. But you understand, I'm sure!

So! Okay! Mr. Japan, how do you like Canada? It's very different, isn't it? But also very exciting! Ah, but I have to warn you not to expect any moose--I've only seen two since arriving here, and one was at the zoo, and the other was a cut-out used for advertising purposes at the market!

I cannot be sure. I have not spent much time here as of yet... It is all quite confusing.

Oh! Do you mean--how you came to be here? Is that what is confusing? Or is there something else? Because I am a Greeter, you know! And I can--

Oh! Ah, my apologies, Mr. Japan, I quite forgot to make the proper introductions--and really, how very rude of me, since I now know your name, and have been speaking with you--and you have no knowledge of mine! Please, do forgive me! My name is Suou Tamaki--but I insist that you call me Tamaki, since we are of course going to be friends! And I am a Greeter, as I said, and a twenty-five percent king and male model in this place! So I can answer a wide variety of questions on a wide variety of topics!

...Tamaki-san, is it? Pleased to meet you.

Perhaps you could be of more assistance than the previous greeter. Ah... why is it that I am here?

Oh, well! I'm sure that I will be--I am, after all, the very best Greeter! Ah, but your question is a difficult one, so I could see where it would give a less experienced and knowledgeable Greeter some difficulty! Because, you see--there are many theories to why it is that we are here. But mostly, the best answer is: we don't know!

But don't worry! Just because you weren't brought here with a purpose doesn't mean that you won't find or develop a purpose while you're here! There are so many things to do and see here!

I would rather not stay here.
