I liked the lites! They were vary nice and remynded me of home. Is it not good if uthers like them?

[Blunt? Yes. He stares at the screen, dumbfounded.]

There's nothing wrong with liking them. I'm simply annoyed by the fact people are actually concerned about them.

[Toothless wiggles a bit, excited. Since people here don't immediately hate him on first sight it's become fun to introduce himself.]

People want to know why they happened. Some people are just worried about what caused them, I suppose.

It is silly to worry becos nuthing makes the lites happen. There just there. [At least, that's how it was back at home. Nobody did anything; the lights just appeared.]

They are, but if they don't like you, they might claw you. That isn't so nice.

[He shakes his head lightly, looking amused.]

These were my- my friend's cats. I took them in when he disappeared.

Precisely. It is ridiculous for them to worry.

[Yeesh. Clawing doesn't sound pleasant. Toothless scrunches up his nose at that.]

I dont want to be klawd! But I would maybe like to try tuching won. How do you tuch a kat and not get klawd?

It was nice to see the lites. Hiccup cant go out when it is dark becos he does not like the monsturs, so we cant go see lites like we yoosd to.

I've had a few scratches. Nothing significant. You just need to be gentle and don't force them into anything. If they don't like you, they'll likely hiss and spit at you. If they do that, or cringe away, don't try to touch them.

No Hiccup is a Viking. He is not vary strong tho so he stays inside at nite and that is good becos I dont want him to get hurt. You must be strong to not worry about monsturs!

They are nice. They're just easily frightened and very territorial. They don't tend to be hostile if you're nice to them. I like having them here.

...a... Viking? That's afraid of monsters?

[The dragon perks up a bit, his ear appendages flicking around. He loves talking about Hiccup!]

Hiccup is not like uther Vikings! He is little and gets scared eezee like a kat and does not hate dragons. So he is my friend and he makes bred and helps do blaksmith werk and we are living togethur. [Okay he's done with his Hiccup ramble. For now.]

Dont they scare you? I dont like them so I stay in with Hiccup.

Mmhm. They all have names. [He points to the one on his head.] That one is Molotov- That one over there is Bayonet and the one sleeping on him is Napalm. Rocket and Grenade are playing over there. Carl Gustav just crawled into my lap- ow. [Watch the claws, kitty.]

Phosphor is sitting on the box over there. And those five are Claymore, Banana, ICBM, HP and Tanegashima. I didn't name them, so don't ask me.

[A pause.]

Ah, so he's a child? Interesting/

[Liquid laughs lightly.]

I am not afraid of monsters. Fighting is what I do best in the world.

[...Toothless' expression just gets more and more confused as each name is rattled off. He doesn't know what any of those are, though, which is probably for the best.] That is a lot of names to remembur! Did your friend name them? Hiccup gave me my name. Becos I can hide my teeth!

[He opens his mouth wide, showing off his gums for a moment before popping out his rows of pointy teeth.]

Hiccup is not a chyld he is a teenaygur. He is like this [here the dragon pauses to draw a very interesting representation of a stick figure viking] and the uther Vikings are like this [and here another figure is drawn, a good three heads taller than the first with limbs that are much thicker and sturdier.]

I am glad you are strong. Since you go out at nite a lot it is good becos if you got hurt your kats mite get sad.

Odd. Most teenage vikings would be expected to face far worse things.

The uthers were better at fiting than Hiccup. Adult Vikings are scary. [Toothless shudders a bit, remembering how ruthless they'd been to his kind.]

That is good. I think [There's a pause in writing as Toothless tries to remember the names of the two cats lounging on Liquid.] Molowtov and Karl Goostav like you to much so I am glad you are ok.

[Liquid lookd away from the screen, jerking a little as ICBM suddenly leaps up onto his shoulder and nuzzles the side of his face. He brings his free hand up to scratch under her chin.]

Thank you. I'm surprised to hear something like that from a dragon. You do have something of a reputation.
