[Sanji's looking rather happy and derpy at the moment as he scrambles to use the video to show what's going on around the restaurant]
Ah...this may be a strange question, but...can anyone familiar with this world tell me if these kinds of fish are local?
[he pans down to show an enormous fish laid out as if freshly-caught in the middle of the

[The video is of the girl sitting on the edge of a large planter with a bushy green and orange tree behind her back, a grin as large as ever on her face]
Sanji! Is that what I think it is? Where did you find it!? [chipper much? yeah, this is the most happy she's looked in a while too.]

Ahhh but a mandarin tree, that's wonderful! It's just like home.
[wait, having a thought here] ...both of these things are just like home...

[frowns a bit] I've been wondering that too. This just isn't any tree... I'm pretty sure it's from home. [She felt like it was a bold statement, but pointed out to him with a finger]
That fish you got? They don't have those here. They don't have anything we have at home. No Seakigs or elephant tuna. They have a swordfish... but the nose isn't really that sharp. Want to bet that fish isn't from here?

...do you really think that's one of our trees? A real Cocoyashi orange tree?

I... don't know how to explain why it's here, but I'm sure it's from the boat. The three trees I had left, behind the main mast of the Sunny? The one on Port side had a fractured board due to Luffy's head.
[She gave a serious look, a raised brow] This one has the same fracture.

That's...how is that even possible?
No, no, I know the answer...the same way a fish from the South Blue is here. Which makes me think of how we all got here...maybe the Core thing.
[sigh] Anyway. If this is a female I'll try to save some of the roe, but I doubt it'll be viable for farming new fish. Unfortunately. That would be so much help to us...

That's what I was wondering about too. It's... possible, but how come my tree? Or that fish? Has anyone else said anything?
[A pause, she tapped her chin, pondering still] It's a little worrisome. [Wait, she raised a brow at that, head tilting a bit]
If that's a female... maybe we can look up someone in port who might be able to cross breed with something living here? Might get a rare and new fish. [Ah, that money making smile is back] A one of a kind.

...not that I trust any of the scientist-types around here, but I'll save some of the roe, either way. Or whatever's there.

[He made a good point there...] I don't trust most of them around here either, but there might be someone out there who isn't in it for the money or alternative motives. [That sounds so strange coming form her]

It's the ulterior motives I'm more concerned about. I don't trust these factions, but they're the ones with the labs and the food they're trying to engineer. I don't want to work with the people who made the giant fruit that turned out to be poisonous!

[pondering... and sighs] I swear, there has to be someone out there not connected with either side. Though your right, the genetic food around here is... frightening.

[sigh, he's looking around warily for Luffy just in case] ...I'd better get this into the kitchen. Vivi's going to help me clean up and make room for it.

[Speaking of Luffy...] Those locks still holding up on the refrigerator doors?
