[frowns a bit] I've been wondering that too. This just isn't any tree... I'm pretty sure it's from home. [She felt like it was a bold statement, but pointed out to him with a finger]
That fish you got? They don't have those here. They don't have anything we have at home. No Seakigs or elephant tuna. They have a swordfish... but the nose isn't really that sharp. Want to bet that fish isn't from here?

I... don't know how to explain why it's here, but I'm sure it's from the boat. The three trees I had left, behind the main mast of the Sunny? The one on Port side had a fractured board due to Luffy's head.
[She gave a serious look, a raised brow] This one has the same fracture.

No, no, I know the answer...the same way a fish from the South Blue is here. Which makes me think of how we all got here...maybe the Core thing.
[sigh] Anyway. If this is a female I'll try to save some of the roe, but I doubt it'll be viable for farming new fish. Unfortunately. That would be so much help to us...

That's what I was wondering about too. It's... possible, but how come my tree? Or that fish? Has anyone else said anything?

If that's a female... maybe we can look up someone in port who might be able to cross breed with something living here? Might get a rare and new fish. [Ah, that money making smile is back] A one of a kind.

[He made a good point there...] I don't trust most of them around here either, but there might be someone out there who isn't in it for the money or alternative motives. [That sounds so strange coming form her]

It's the ulterior motives I'm more concerned about. I don't trust these factions, but they're the ones with the labs and the food they're trying to engineer. I don't want to work with the people who made the giant fruit that turned out to be poisonous!
