I'm glad you liked your gift, Ishida-san. I love the headphones, too!

[She actually has them around her neck. She'll be using them from now on when she's not outside training at night.]

I hope they have good sound quality. I don't know much about electronics.

They're nois-cancelling too, actually! They're perfect. It'll make it easier to focus when I'm working on my sewing.

Ah, good.

Have you been making anything lately?

I'm actually working on something for New Years'. It's been an on-and-off project for months and I was hoping to be done before now to have made another for Mitsuru-senpai, but with her gone and me being so busy, I only had time to make one.

You don't have to tell me twice! My friend back home, Bebe, made it look so easy. He had a natural talent with a sewing needle, I swear. But honestly, I don't mind the challenge of something this elaborate. I just hope it'll look okay.

Don't write yourself off so quickly. I've seen your work - it may take you longer, but there's a great deal of care and detail you put into your creations.

I didn't mean it like that, but I'm more used to doing smaller pieces, like skirts or shirts or even smaller. I wasn't putting myself down.

Hm, good.

Has your medical work been busy this season?

Not so much, thankfully. I applied for an internship at Skye Medical, but they might have me wait until the summer.

Are you taking the second half of calligraphy next semester?

A paid internship, I hope.

Yes. [although he'd spent the last two weeks deliberating over it] I'll also be taking a second-level computer course. I'm debating between something related to government or a psychology course for my third class.

I'm not sure yet. Probably not.

[She looks up.] Either sounds right up your alley, I think. I took a...sort-of psychology course this semester. It was really an interpersonal relations course for teachers, but it covered a few broad topics. I think you might like something like that.

Would you be able to do that? [concerned; it would be a financial burden on her]

I'll look into it.
