[The feed clicks on facing a wall only partially illuminated by the lamp on Sherlock's desk. The picture rattles a bit, as if the NV has just been dropped, triggering the video function. Sherlock notices this, but as he isn't visible himself, he doesn't move to fix it. As far as everything appears, he's nowhere in the picture, maybe not even in the room, but a seemingly disembodied voice changes that. It sounds like he's speaking from another room, when in fact he's all over the main room of his little sector seven home. His dormant ability of blending into shadows has been triggered by the ongoing effects of the Core and the eclipse.]
Well. [This is the most enthused he's ever sounded across the NV, and one might even hear a small, subdued chuckle if their hearing is sharp enough.] This... this is certainly new.
