- A man was found dead in the Industrial sector just after sirens this morning, hanging from a rope stretching from inside his apartment and down into the street. The victim was a member of the Government's PR team, a recent divorcee who lost his children in the separation. He was last seen on Saturday evening, speaking to a tall man who looked like a clown, with white skin and green hair, with whom he left the bar. A note found in the apartment stated that, after a long chat with someone, he decided that he should just end it all. The death has been ruled a suicide.
- There is a grand opening today of a Japanese restaurant in Sector 6. It offers a wide variety of sushi and other Japanese cuisine, beverages, and desserts, as well as a basic and deluxe all-you-can-eat menu for dinner hour. The restaurant advertises the food as being able to help significantly with weight loss. A pamphlet full of hazy scientific "proof" is available at the restaurant.
