[There is a little pink nose in the view of Kazuma's NV video feed. A tiny little mewl confirms that this pink nose belongs to a kitten

[Kazuma pulls her back down, scooting back a little on the bed and putting her in front of him.]
When I was picking her out, she did this.
[He holds his hand in front of her, and she sits back on her hind legs, front legs curled to her furry little chest as she pokes her nose up at his hand. She kind of looks like a mongoose when they stand up in a similar manner.]
[That pose? Cutest damn thing ever.] What a talented girl. There must be a way to work out a name based on that somehow. Naming for personality rather than appearance always makes more sense, I think.
That's where I'm stuck... last cat I had my cousin named. [he rolls his eyes a little. You can just tell it wasn't all that great by the way he says it.]
Awwww, she's so cute! [ and you're just damned adorable with that content look, Kazuma. So. Freaking. CUTE. ]
You don't have to rush a name. I didn't name my puppy until a week after I got her, and ...I don't know how long it took Zuko to name his kitten. Look - [ She reaches over and scoops a kitty up, holding him in front of the feed. ] His name is Smokey.
[ Smokey's ears perk curiously, and he sniffs at the screen, then pounces at it, knocking the NV over abruptly. Katara grins, righting the feed again. ]
You don't have to call her cat permanently or anything. Just long enough to figure out her personality and find a name to suit her.

Oh, she's a little beauty. Has she demonstrated any other distinctive personality traits other than liking to chew on hair?

Feels weird to just call her 'cat', though. That's like people who name their pet "Neko" or "Inu".
