Probably diner lady if they've got it. I've seen some want ads at several eatery establishments. So I might just give it a go again.

Not really. It just means I fetch a lot of coffee and try and fix up the computer system. Tuesdays and Thursdays I'm expected to go out and work the streets though, and considering the size of this place it's pretty exhausting.

If you've done it before, you should probably try again. That way you can afford to move out when your tennancy runs out here.

Almost sounds like a job one of my mates back home would've loved. They were a bit tech geekish and into video games. Not that there's anything wrong with that but I never really got into that. A whole other world. Reckon though that's a bit of a workout for you.

I think that I will. At least this time it won't just be for a few days.

Quite right. Don't wanna find myself out there with no funds. No one's still managed to find a way out have they?

It's not easy. These criminals have powers, and I don't, so I have to be very careful what I get involved in. It's not ideal, but it seems to be working so far.

[So long as Light doesn't have to mention playing Super Mario Kart Racing with creatures that don't technically exist, we're all good.]

Nobody's managed to find a way back, and the closer I get to the island's edge...

Well I'd imagine not. Probably have to be in tip top shape to run from them if they decide to use it or be very sneaky, yeah? But the criminals have powers too? Really? Oh blimey, that's not good though. Do the police have powers too? Mean the ones that are local anyway?

Some of the police have powers, too.

When you move toward the coastline, there's sort of...something of a feeling of dicomfort. Like a pull. Do you remember how it felt when you came here?
