I don't expect everyone will.

If you'd like, I plan on taking suggestions later for future games. I'm not limited to this particular genre.

It's not the genre that bothers me. It's... why did you have the character wake up and not remember? That's not fun at all. That's awful.

The plot involves your character finding out more about himself as the game progresses. Eventually, memories will return.

You speak from experience. I apologize if this bothers you.

...Who said anything about it being from my experience? [It's true, though, hence the suspicion and quiet anger.]

There's a subtlety in the way we communicate that tells a deeper story.

I will avoid making you uncomfortable in the future, if it can be helped.

[He was sure someone had said something, and now he realized he gave himself away. Annoyance.] ...So you're saying it was because of what I said? Tch. There could be lots of reasons I didn't like the story. For instance, your class types are way too specific. You should leave the specialized abilities to the expansions and start out with more basic types until people are used to the format.

[He knows he's not wrong. He also knows it was a bad idea saying anything in the first place, so he'll play along.]

True enough. I find the typical class types boring, and was looking to put an added spin on the design.

Why choose those particular classes? I don't have a ton of experience with RPGs, but it's nothing like the one I used to play back home.

They are representative of some people that are very close to me.

...That's actually kind of cool. Can your friends do the stuff they do in the game?

To an extent, yes.

[long pause for thought, he's choosing his words carefully]

Did something like that happen?

While some of the backstory is based loosely on real events, the actual scenario wasn't too similar.

[Another long pause of consideration.]

Ever lost your memory?

I don't know if I could say I'd lost my memory so much as I'd lost track of who I was.
