[The feed clicks on and more than anything, Shinji just sounds... well, tired. Worn out and emotionally drained, simply stating what he has to say on the network, as though to get the words off and away from him.]
...People who work at Siren's Flowers, Minako ain't gonna be in for a bit. Sorry. She ain't feeling so hot. I dunno how long she'll be out, so you guys might be on your own for a little bit.
Speaking of, Dr. Yumeno, if I could talk to you, that'd be great.
[A pause in which there's a dull thump and the scrabbling of nails across a floor- someone's tossing a tennis ball for the dog while he talks.]
Aki, Ken-- Yosuke, you can come too-- If you guys got time, we need to talk.
[The scrabbling noise picks up again and gets louder as the dog comes back, and the process repeats- dull thump, and the dog takes off in excitement after the tennis ball. There's another long moment, but he finally decides not to even comment on what's been on the news.]
