[This comes at a rather late hour, and rightly so. Plumb in the middle of the baseball diamond there's a rather suspicious heap of snow, which very well shouldn't have been in a baseball diamond to begin with. In fact, it were remiss to say that it were a heap of snow at all. Had not the full glare of a silvery, luminous moon reflected off of the

[ What...in the name of...?! Bolting upright faster than a frightened deer the good doctor winced at the ear-splitting screech of discordant sound that was amplified with a burst of static through the receiver.
He threw up his hands to shield his ears until it dispersed, his entire frame tensing with alarm. Whatever that was, it couldn't have boded well.]

[ Grell's got a pretty good view of the baseball diamond from his flat. He pushes up his window, cranes his head outside and... waves a handkerchief ]
The monsters! Watch out! Or they'll ~EAT~ you!

H-here!
[He couldn't see much more than a blur, though the shock of red wasn't all that difficult to make out. It provided something of a general landmark, at any rate.]
M-monsters? What do you mean...Monsters?
[Despite himself he turned about, the crunch of snow nearby making him start.]
...What...What was that?

He wasn't daft enough to remain out in the open, and started at a dead run, thin enough that he was able to pass through a belt of chain-linked fence on either side before rounding the corner. He stopped for a moment to catch his breath, pulse racing, his hand bracing himself against the wall.]
What is that?!...Some sort of animal?

[ That's right. A somersault from his 9th floor room, a few springing jumps, and perhaps a brief foray into the 4th physical dimension to make everything line up right...
...and that's one Grell Sutcliff leaning against said wall, right next to your hand, appearing without so much as a * poof! * ]
You might not be entirely wrong, however!

[Just as he was going to make clear what he was trying to say his crystal blue eyes widened with pure horror, hand reaching out if he could but stop 'her' from leaping to what he thought would certainly be her death.
His heart leapt straight into his throat when he caught a glance of streaming red falling from the sky, Seward's mouth utterly agape as he tried to process what exactly he was seeing. He could do little more than look as white as a sheet, unable to register what exactly had just happened.]
...A-are you hurt?
[He heard himself saying, his gentlemanly inclinations arising out of default, as his mind had yet to catch up with the process. The good doctor looked all the worse for wear with his ashen face and disheveled appearance, yet still managed to worry over someone else's safety. ]
[[ooc: Oh, hey~ Since Walter is also looking to make an action tag in the thread above, would you mind if he joined us?~ I'd love for this hilarity to proceed further. ]]

You've come to save me, haven't you?
What a gentleman...
[ Grell presses the back of his hand against his forehead and feigns a theatrical swoon! ]

[ She was certainly a rather queer sort of girl, yet she didn't deserve any less respect. If 'she' fainted he didn't have his smelling salts on hand. Though, it would be interesting to note that this sort of behavior was actually quite normal in the Victorian era, as the "hysteria" of women was well-documented. If a woman was to endure too much excitement, it could overwhelm her.]
I'm a Doctor.
[He offered his hand slowly, as though he might startle her, then suddenly retracting as the radio receiver buzzed with a feed.]
A-ah...Here! We're outside...There's been a...
[Glancing over at the swooning Grell, seemingly quite concerned.]
There's a young woman here who I think needs medical assistance.

I requre medical assistance! From a... handsome doctor!
[ Casts his arms about Seward's neck and hangs! ]
You've got to... carry me. Up to my flat. Pleeeeeease!

[He strained under the unexpected weight, nearly dipping too forwards for comfort given his miscalculation, for which he profusely apologized. She must have been too frazzled in her state to realize how out of turn she was.
Crystalline blue searched out her face for a fleeting moment in hopes he wouldn't detect any sort of delirium, though these sorts of antics were ill-placed in public.]
Madam..Please! Contain yourself.
[She was being just a little too enthusiastic regarding the prospect of care, though it should be only natural for a lady to desire protection from a gentleman, should it not? If he'd any sort of suspicious mentality at all he might have deduced an act in all this, but since he was never the type to question a lady's intentions he wasn't about to disregard her state of health and abandon her here. She had, after all, in what he perceived as a brave act, ventured out into the darkness to retrieve him.]
I will do what I can for you. I'm not certain I have the strength to carry you, however.

[ This is perhaps a tad more irritation than Grell wants to convey at this point! With difficulty, he masters himself. ]
...but you're not well yourself. Oh my dear.
[ Grell makes a show of straightening up, bearing his own weight, and letting his hands fall from Seward's shoulders... and, in so doing, slide down the man's back and perhaps skirt across the contours of his arse! ]
Yes, yes. I'll take you up to my flat. It's just upstairs. But...
[ And there's an innocent bat bat bat of his eyelashes ]
...can I trust you? It is somewhat improper, my entertaining you without a chaperon. I do it to save your life, you understand!
[ And, just at that moment, realises there's a teenage boy looking on. Grell shoots him a grimace and hand gesture that communicate, unmistakably - GO AWAY! ]
