So, just curious, a little poll for you all: who's still eating the freebies that come out here now and again?

More power to you if you're enjoying whatever strange side affects you get, I suppose. But if you're not enjoying them but you just keep on doing it, I wonder how you're still managing yourself here?

I hear some people pay good money for side effects like those.

Why not do it for free?

Hmm, true enough~ not my vice of choice, but can I judge? [he laughs.] How troublesome for those who made their living off that kind of thing when people with a taste for being put out of their heads can find opportunities to be put out for free.

It could be beneficial for them. What starts as an accidental taste might become an expensive habit. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the plan all along. A hook for potential customers.

That would certainly be a suitably cunning little plot for the whole place~ I wouldn't be surprised if you had it right. The market here is competitive, after all. They have to prep the audience!

Exactly. It's simply what any ambitious man of business would do.

Laudable, I suppose, if you like that kind of thing.

How are you settling in?

Well enough. Exploring career options of my own. Checking out real estate. Nothing much worth commenting on, really.

The pleasures of the quiet life? My, my. Or maybe you're just covering all your bases first.

Who said anything about quiet? But yes, security is a priority.

I don't want a reputation for being a boring guy.
