Before going home, he stopped by his office to drop off the materials, securely locking the door behind him. Less than two weeks remained until the important date. He had seen other people celebrating such an occasion before, but never orchestrated one himself. Mistakes were intolerable - and yet, given who he was, probably inevitable.

On the walk back, there were a few disturbances. Evidently, with the discovery of the Core, people's growing frustrations drove them to demonstrate unruly behavior more often than before. Fortunately, due to his defenses, he was able to make it to Sector 5 without sustaining physical injuries.

Quietly, he entered the condo, and began looking for Sai. Remembering the earlier video post, Gaara wondered if he was still painting.

By the time the other entered the home, Sai was still in the small balcony, and was now putting his paints away.
