Storm Warnings Higher as Day Increases
The article is, again, about the approaching electrical storm and the effects it's been having off the coast. Several experts weigh in on the possible effects of this storm on the northeastern coasts of the Island. They predict that
Sectors Nine, Ten, and the northern part of Sector Four may experience flash floods. The whole Island, including the agricultural areas, will experience severe storms with lots of lightning - which may end up shutting the power down for a while during Darkness.
The article closes off with experts stating that the most major concerns at this time are breaches in security by monsters during Darkness if the power goes out at night, and the possible damage that may be done to the agricultural sector.
The reporter and experts urge that all residents stay indoors tonight.
[OOC Note: This storm will be hitting the City full force tonight, around 9 pm in-game time (PST time zone). Before the storm hits full force, there will be high winds, thunder, lightning, and heavy rain. After the storm hits, these weather patterns will increase in severity, and hail will start to fall as well. There will be power flickering between 10 pm and 3 am in-game time. Mild flooding will occur through the slums and lower class areas, as well as sector four, where it's close to the beach. Feel free to have your characters' homes affected by creatures pounding at them during power outages.
Stay tuned for more information on the storm tomorrow.]
