[Sometime after reading the newsfeed for Friday, Ivy was IRATE. Though she managed to control her expression enough to appear as if she were just merely displeased, the truth was that she was seething inside.]

Who did it?!

Which one of you ungrateful lowlifes saw fit to set fire to the forest? The plants are already in a steady decline in the rest of ( Read more... )

[You're getting a glare. She's still a bit pissy over the last conversation. She's fickle like that.]

Yes.

I don't suppose you'd know anything about it though.

There's no advantage in it, for me. I have no reason to do something like that. I'm a legitimate business-man now, don't you know?

Not until you get your hands on a bomb, that is.

[Sorry Croc, she's a bit agitated today.]

Are you still on about that?

You don't think I'd soon forget it, do you?

Why are you so focused on idle statements?

Because it means I have to keep an eye on you, dear.

In my experience, I've learned that you can never trust anyone with bombs.

[Not that she really trusted anyone anyways, but you know.]

Bombs aren't even my real forte'.

I'd hope not. For a man, such as you, who takes such an overwhelming pride in your own power...it seems rather contradictory.

It's more the ingenuity of the thing. Ivy, you have to learn to recognize human achievement, regardless of the intent of it.

If someone had designed a system that could immediately turn a desert into an oasis, I would have admired it just as much, and no one would have said a damned thing to me. Both technological marvels, it's just their intent that polarizes people.

Oh I can recognize the achievement, alright. Just because of one man's idea, now any regular person can wield the power to wipe out any forest they desire. Of course I would equally despise a person who would do the same with their own natural power, but at least they'd be relying on their own power.

There's no man I hate more than one that hides behind technology - behind others, rather than facing their own problems head-on. [Just ask Eddie. :|]

I agree. Strong men don't need to hide.

Indeed. Those who pretend to be strong are only asking to be knocked down again - such as the men that feel as if others are obligated to pay tribute to them, though they only merely possess a weapon that wasn't even derived from their own intellect.

So, who else bears a grudge against you?

[Suddenly, a smirk.] Who would ever bear a grudge against me?

[Especially when she was the one that typically held them in the first place.]
