He turned to to face him. "Humor is always a waste a time, yet people seem to enjoy it. Seeing as most people are impractical, they must not find it a waste of time."

While Sai was filing some of the papers, his gaze shifted down to the small pile that remained. Other assignments that had yet to be delegated. The one he and Sai recently embarked on, it was completed successfully. His business was expanding - slowly, but steadily.

Gaara retrieved a map of the city and pinpointed the location in-question, discovering the area to be a considerable size. It would take at least several hours to complete the task. More, if he restricted himself in power usage, though it didn't seem to be a wise choice for this particular task.
He set that particular assignment aside, and then continued to read through the other requests.

Returning to work on a consistent basis felt... rather tiring, after spending an entire year away from the office. Still, he would do what was necessary in order to survive amidst a new setting.
