Uh-huh! And I'm going to school, and playing soccer with Ken, and tutoring my little sister, and helping a girl learn how to fight, and... uhm...

Well, it's not like our job takes a whole lotta work! Eheheh.

You could always drop by the shop. Or come to class with me. I'm sure I wouldn't mind the help.

I'm no good at school - quit it when I was 14.

I've never been to a real school before, and I'm no good at reading English. It gets all confused in my head.

It's...a long story.

[And one he doesn't really wanna talk about.]

What's that other language you keep switching to anyway?

[Then she won't ask about it for now.]

Al Bhed. It's the language of my people, and the one I grew up speaking. Right now I'm speaking Spiran, but you all call it English and it's written differently than anything I've ever seen before.

And Al Bhed sounds like nothing I've ever heard before.

I haven't met a single Al Bhed person in the three months I've been here. It's kinda hard being the only one of your species walking around.

[She laughs a little.]

But I'm not human, silly! Have you seen my eyes?
