Nana had never experienced a holiday before or even heard of Thanksgiving, but Thanksgiving was really nice! Nana got to eat many tasty things like potatoes and corn and pumpkin pie! Nana's still not sure why it's called pumpkin pie. It didn't look like a pumpkin at all. But, it was still tasty.
Holidays are really nice, especially Thanksgiving. Nana is getting better at letters and writing. It's still hard, but it isn't as hard as it used to be. Nana wrote down everything that Nana is thankful for and stuck it on the fridge. That way, even if Nana wakes up some day and is sleepy or can't remember for some reason, the list will be there. Nana even decorated the list! Look! Nana thinks it's important to remember to be thankful for things every day, even if it's not Thanksgiving.
Oh! And Nana drew a turkey to hang on the fridge with the list since turkeys will remind Nana even more to be thankful.
When Nana went to the farm Nana saw turkeys. They're really funny and make silly sounds. Nana likes them.
Oh! And, and- Mister William! Nana saw glasses at the store the other day. They were really funny and reminded Nana of you. Nana got a pair for you and Nana and Papa if he ever comes and then, when he does come, we can all wear the glasses. Like this-!
