002 Learning to Turnabout - Video
[Phoenix looks more than a little exhausted. He's been trying to sleep for a few hours with no luck.] I know that there are a handful of attorneys here from my home, but I have to wonder who else is--no, what any of you did at home, and if that's changed at all since you got here.
I used to want to be an artist. I imagined it would be easy, and I wasn't too bad at it, but mostly I just didn't know what I wanted to do. I'd never really been driven toward anything in particular, and I could learn anything if I put my mind to it, really... A lot of my mind. I didn't really know at all until some people came into my life who really steered me in another direction, and I changed my major to law.
I'm Phoenix Wright, by the way. Tomorrow the judgement comes back on my bar exam, and I'll know whether or not I can practice law here. To be honest it's keeping me up. If it comes back and I have to retake the exam... [Especially after the other Phoenixes passed it] I want to be able to defend any newcomer who needs it, and more than that. There's a lot of odd laws in this place, and I want to be able to offer legal help wherever it's needed.
That's all. I guess I'll try some hot chocolate, see if that helps with putting me to sleep.
